More than mechanics, a starting point to transform lives.

At Checkpoint 360, we train girls and boys ages 12 to 18 in basic automotive mechanics with safe, hands-on sessions led by professionals. It's more than learning how to use tools: it's discovering character, teamwork, and a purposeful future while serving our city.

What we do?

Monthly sessions with our mechanical team.

• Real-life practice sessions in our training vehicles: "Benito" (1964 VW Beetle) and "Jerónimo" (2012 Hyundai H1).

Service projects to bless families in need (widows, single mothers, and other neighbors).

Who can participate?

Checkpoint 360 is a tool we use to support Legacy youth, but it's open to any girl or boy between the ages of 12 and 18 who wants to learn and serve.

No prior experience is necessary.

What will you learn?

• Safe use of tools and basic principles.

Preventive maintenance (oil, filters, fluids).

Electrical system (battery, alternator, essential circuits).

Brakes, suspension, and steering: diagnosis and maintenance.

Tires: basic tire changes, alignment, and balancing.

Troubleshooting and best workshop practices.

Why we do it?

We believe:

that practical skills, healthy relationships,

and the Gospel message can change life trajectories.

Here, every screw tightened and every engine repaired is an opportunity to build character, unlock opportunities, and serve the community.
